Hi, I’m Shivam — a Data Scientist, AI Engineer, and builder of HQLogic.tech.
I build AI-powered software that bridges the gap between machine learning research and real-world products — from data pipelines and ML models to APIs, web applications, and production deployments.
What I Do & How I Engineer
1. AI & Machine Learning Engineering
I work across the machine learning lifecycle — from data preparation and experimentation to model optimization and production inference.
My work spans NLP, generative AI, computer vision, and predictive modeling, with a focus on building systems that are practical to deploy and maintain.
When performance matters, I explore techniques such as ONNX Runtime, quantization, and lightweight inference to reduce deployment overhead and improve inference efficiency.
2. Pragmatic Software Architecture
I prefer architecture that matches the problem rather than architecture that looks impressive on a diagram.
For early-stage products, that often means a modular monolith with clear boundaries, a well-designed relational database, and simple deployment infrastructure.
I work primarily with Python, FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL, React, and Next.js, choosing technologies based on product requirements rather than trends.
3. From Idea to Production
I enjoy working across the entire product stack.
That means taking an idea from:
Problem → Data → Model → API → Product → Deployment
rather than treating machine learning as an isolated component.
The goal isn't simply to build a model that works in a notebook. It's to build software that people can actually use.

HQLogic.tech is my independent software brand, where I build AI-powered products and developer-focused tools.
My focus is on solving practical problems with software — particularly around data, analytics, automation, and intelligent workflows.
The long-term goal is to build a portfolio of focused products where AI provides genuine utility rather than being added simply for the sake of using AI.
